Intellectual and EducationWe in the marvelous Kingdom of Gojoseon have a rich intellectual history. As the descendants of heaven, our language is too sacred to be grasped by foreign barbarians. Our harmonious lifestyles makes the invention of writing as a form of record or tax keeping utterly pointless.
At this time period, from 2333 to 108 B.C.E., Gojoseon did not develop writing system nor adapt any others. No record was saved from the Gojoseon. However, up until the fall of Gojoseon to the Han Dynasty, multiple Chinese dynasties and states have enviously kept records on our glorious Gojoseon. We speak a form of Proto-Korean (Old Korean), which is considered to be the source of modern day Korean. . The written record didn't come until after the Gojoseon period, which was written in Chinese characters commonly known as Hanja (the modern Korean Hangul did not appear into much later). |
